Physical activity and movement


Physical activity is defined as any movement of the body caused by skeletal muscles that requires energy expenditure. Physical activities include exercises, as well as other activities related to physical activity and performed as part of play, work, active transport, homework and recreational activities.

Why?
Physical activity or exercise improves your health and reduces your risk of several diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular disease. Physical activity and physical activity provide immediate and long-term health benefits. The most important thing is that regular activities can improve your quality of life.
How much?
at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of high intensity aerobic activity per week, or a combination of moderate and intense activity. More exercise will bring even more health benefits.

What is aerobic activity?
Aerobic exercise is any type of cardiovascular conditioning. This can include activities such as brisk walking, swimming, running or cycling. You probably know this as "cardio". By definition, aerobic exercise means "with oxygen". Breathing and heart rate will increase during aerobic activity.

What is high intensity aerobic activity?
A high-intensity cardio workout is any combination of exercises in which your heart rate exceeds 75% of your maximum heart rate (average) for 10 minutes or more.
